Digital payment platform Wirex has just launched what many have been waiting for — its multi-currency Mastercard debit card. The card is available in the UK and EEA region. Besides that, Wirex has also started its new rewards programme called X-tras worldwide.
75,000 people have signed up for the debit card’s waitlist since its launch on October 21, 2021. With this debit card, users are able to spend up to 18 crypto and traditional currencies in real-time. As Mastercard’s principal member, Wirex is authorized to directly issue payment cards to customers. Customers are able to buy, hold and exchange more than one crypto and traditional currencies with ease. Cryptocurrencies can also be converted into traditional fiat currency, which can be spent as long as Mastercard is accepted.

X-tras is an improved version of Wirex’s rewards scheme. With an all-new subscription model, customers can access X-tras including a maximum of 2% Cryptoback™ by making in-store or online purchases via their Wirex card. Up to 12% Savings Bonus will be added to their WXT account balance for a limited time.

From today onwards, the new Wirex card is available to UK and EEA Wirex users and can be ordered from their website. X-trax rewards programme is not regionally bound as it can be accessed through an app by customers all over the world.
