Three days ago, our NewsFirstLine team mentioned that Dogecoin is exhibiting bullish signals. True enough, Dogecoin finally broke through the 10 cents psychological resistance with ease to hit an ATH of 12 cents (US$0.12) at around 1am UK time.
Ever since Elon Musk started his series of tweets showing the dogecoin memes last year, the price of Dogecoin has been moving up steadily. It has even caught the attention of fellow billionaire Mark Cuban.
Mark Cuban’s own Dallas Maverick is accepting Dogecoin as payments for tickets to its matches.
One of the largest ATM network in the U.S., CoinFlip, has also announced support for Dogecoin.
Given [Dogecoin] growing popularity and recent mass adoption, we are dedicated to making sure that Dogecoin is a part of our portfolio of coins, and encourage further support of this cryptocurrency in the coming months.” said Daniel Polotsky, CEO and Co-Founder of CoinFlip
Dogecoin is now ranked thirteenth on Coinmarketcap, right behind Bitcoin Cash. Its status as a “fun” and “tipping” coin has now been elevated to possibly a major cryptocurrency for payments.
Its daily trading volume has exceeded US$10 billion as well which should draw in institutional plays. The future for dogecoin looks promising for now.
