Bitkub sent scam warning alert

Bitkub Exchange, Thailand’s leading cryptocurrency exchange platform, issued an alert email to its members warning them about the impersonation as Bitkub Exchange.

Bitkub Exchange stated in the warning that it has no policy to ask for personal information or to request customers to create any transactions via Line, SMS, Line Open Chat, or use any email address other than [email protected] and [email protected].

“We do not refer to the third party or invite customers to invest or participate in any activity such as depositing to receive bonuses, etc., and do not possess any website other than bitkub.com. If any of such cases are found, it is suspected to be scammers!,”

Customers are also encouraged to contact the company’s staff for account security advice or to request that their accounts be suspended if they witness such actions or have questions about account access and transactions.

The warning email comes as Thai regulators tighten laws to protect Thai consumers from scams and fraud.
