Malaysian Delivery App Utilizes Blockchain to Resolve Disputes

The fourth largest delivery app in Malaysia, Bungkusit, announced that it has decided to use blockchain technology to increase customer transparency and security, as well as settling disputes.

With the assistance of an online medical licensure verification platform VeriDoc Global, Bungkusit could implement a blockchain solution into their system. The completion of the process took around three to four weeks.

VeriDoc’s Regional Director Aliasgar Abbas remarked that blockchain is well-suited as a trusted point of reference and verification.

Once the delivery is successfully completed, a QR code will be generated for the customer to scan in order to acknowledge the delivery order. During the delivery process, the delivery photo and order, location and drop off details will be recorded and stored on the blockchain.

Bungkusit is an on-demand delivery platform that connects consumers and businesses, allowing deliveries to be done within the same day.
