From the job search website of Mastercard, the major credit and debit card company is currently looking for a Senior Engineer in Blockchain and Chief of Engineering, Director of Product and Innovation Development.
Mastercard is also looking for Blockchain technology professionals for the roles of Vice President of Technology Product Management, Payment and Network Platform Manager, Analysts, Strategic Program Management and others.
In addition to being a Product Innovation Developer, the potential Vice President of Product will also be overseeing product management. The Wallets Manager is also responsible for MasterCard’s patents.
Mastercard was listed as a member of the Libra Association when news emerged from Facebook on Libra nearly 2 months ago. Facebook is now working on its Calibra wallets and have also announced that their plans allow for competition in the ecosystem. Facebook’s Libra was also called to the United States Senate Banking Committee just last month on July 16.
